User
statement from Christopher Scott about the Spectro LFP
RT
Christopher Scott,
owner of Hampton Roads Giclee, was one of our
first North American customers to purchase the BARBIERI
Spectro LFP RT.
Christopher produces wide format inkjet print
reproductions for hundreds of artists in his area. His
commitment to creating museum quality fine art
reproductions for his clients was his motivation for
purchasing the Spectro LFP RT. He gave us some very
important feedback about his experience with our
instrument which enabled us to improve the unit to the
final stage which it finally has reached.
Christopher describes his experience with the Spectro
LFP RT as follows:
“I am
very pleased with the final design and operation of the
BARBIERI spectrophotometer Spectro LFP RT. It is a
unique device that offers the user benefits not found in
other devices in its class. The speed and accuracy of
the instrument makes the Spectro LFP RT an unbeatable
choice for production oriented, high quality print
environments.
I know that I'm not a 'typical user' for such an
instrument. I prefer to design my own test charts and
then use PhotoShop to adapt them for use with the
Auto-Positioning guides. Then, with the Spectro-xy
software, it is easy for me to create a template to read
my custom test charts.

The Spectro_xy software, along with the solid
reliability of the BARBIERI Spectro LFP RT, gives me the
worry free, creative flexibility I need to meet my
particular profiling requirements.
My investment in both of BARBIERI’s flagship
spectrophotometers, Spectro 100xy & Spectro LFP RT, has
resulted in my complete confidence in the accuracy of
the spectral and density measurement data I create for
my RIP linearizations and output profiles, as well as
the reference files I create for my scanner targets.
I have been impressed with the support and assistance
BARBIERI provided after the sale to ensure my complete
satisfaction with my purchase. For this, BARBIERI
maintains my loyalty and can expect that I will purchase
their product again in the future."
Thanks
to Mr. Christopher Scott for his consent to publish this
statement.
