BARBIERI electronic and Caldera entered an OEM agreement with the scope to offer to their customers a unique, whole solution for most accurate colors in large format printing industry.

Caldera, a French company specialized in color management, imaging and driving solutions for large format peripherals launches TotalColor, a whole solution for color management and “on the mark” digital color output. This solution includes the well-known BARBIERI electronic Spectro LFP, a color measuring device specially designed for linearization and profiling of large format and flatbed output devices. This device will be driven by EasyMedia, Caldera’s integrated color management, color calibration and profile making solution.

BARBIERI electronic is an Italian company with more than 20 years experience in developing and manufacturing of color measuring devices. Their Spectro LFP is an automatic measuring device for both, reflection and transmission media with some very special features. The changeable measuring aperture (2 and 6 mm) enables measuring high and low resolution prints as well as media with plain and structured surfaces. Furthermore, the ability to measure fully automatically rigid (up to 20 mm) and flexible media makes it an easy and speedy way for linearization and profiling of almost all materials used in large format and flatbed printing industry.

The Caldera TotalColor solution powered by BARBIERI can be used for:

• Creation of ICC profiles for digital output devices for most different materials (both reflective and transparent)

• Single measurements of logo colors (Pantone) with subsequent check of the color-true printing

BARBIERI electronic e Caldera hanno stipulato un accordo di collaborazione in OEM per poter offrire alla loro clientela una soluzione unica e completa per una maggiore qualità cromatica nell’industria della stampa di Grande Formato.

Caldera, una ditta francese specializzata in soluzioni Color Management, di imaging e di sistemi RIP per le periferiche di stampa di Grande Formato lancia TotalColor, una soluzione Color Management per periferiche di stampa digitali. Questa soluzione include il noto SPECTRO LFP della BARBIERI electronic, uno strumento di misurazione del colore studiato appositamente per la linearizzazione e la profilatura di sistemi di uscita a letto piano di Grande Formato. Lo SPECTRO LFP verrà pilotato da EasyMedia, il sistema integrato di gestione del colore della Caldera per la calibrazione colore e la creazione dei profili colore.
